Won an Emmy as one of the producers covering the COVID-19 lockdown in NYC. Won a Front Page Award for Best Online Social Media Video, Folio Award, and International News Media Association Award as the lead producer on a story about the extremist groups that stormed the Capitol on January 6th. Won a Webby for Best News & Politics Video Channel. Pitched, produced, scripted, tracked, and served as on-camera talent for videos that have garnered millions of views across social media platforms. Launched Insider’s Decoded series and supervised revolving teams of journalists for it. Other highlights included on-the-ground coverage of the 2020 election and recovery efforts following natural disasters. Joined as an Associate Producer, promoted to Producer in less than a year, then to Senior Producer a year later.

Create hour-long documentaries on tight deadline for CNN and MAX. Pitch original ideas, identify characters, conduct interviews, direct verité shoots, lead crews in the field, write scripts, and oversee the post-production process. Manage archival producers, production assistants, graphic artists, and editors on each project. Notable work includes an extensive investigation into allegations that Johnson & Johnson’s baby powder causes cancer, which involved maintaining relationships with three plaintiffs and their lawyer as well as securing an interview with J&J. Also piloted a new docuseries about TV moments that shaped American culture with episodes on Murphy Brown and The Sopranos.

Evening News – Broadcast Associate & Assistant to Exec. Producer: Won an Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast as part of the team covering the U.S. border crisis. Worked with producers and editors to prepare packages on quick turnaround for the evening news. Managed archival research for feature stories, gathered firsthand accounts from witnesses during breaking news, and handled scripts in control rooms and studios during live broadcasts. Oversaw daily operations of the newsroom as assistant to the EP. Newspath – News Associate: Edited 900+ breaking news and feature videos for clients and CBS affiliates to use in broadcasts. Coordinated communications and video requests between CBS stations and 10 international partners, including AP and Reuters.

DBS Television – Reporter & Producer: Reported on 50+ breaking news and feature stories for St. Lucia’s leading news station, including headliners on drug abuse, laws against homosexuality, and a case of 50 mysteriously poisoned pigs. A two-part series on rape crimes led the government to start a sex offense registry and reopen a DNA forensics lab. Launched a weekly segment called Corps Values and subsequently filmed, produced, scripted, and tracked 52 stories highlighting Peace Corps initiatives. Canaries Infant School - English Literacy Teacher: Peace Corps assignment to teach English to 54 students at a K-2 school in a rural fishing village. Built a library with 2300+ donated books, trained student library leaders, and initiated a partnership with a nonprofit supporting literacy in the region. Implemented four positive behavior management systems as alternatives to corporal punishment. CANBlendz – Co-Founder: Co-founded a small business producing frozen packages of pre-washed, pre-measured smoothie ingredients to provide income for community members, support local farmers, and encourage healthy eating habits. Devised three original recipes, sourced ingredients, designed packaging, managed inventory, and marketed products across the island.
