Objective

Hi, I'm Megan Schellong (she/her).
I'm a public radio journalist, host, and executive producer of Morning Edition on WKAR-FM, the most-listened to morning news program in Mid-Michigan and NPR affiliate based at Michigan State University.

I'm looking for my next opportunity as a radio producer/host, ideally somewhere on the west coast so I can be closer to my parents, who may soon need more attentive care.

As a Chinese adoptee, I bring a unique perspective to my work, exploring the nuances of race and identity. My work has been heard on BBC Radio 4, NPR's All Things Considered and Weekend Edition.

My reporting has been recognized with awards from the Detroit Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and the Michigan Associated Press Media Editors.
