As a Producer/Director/Cinematographer in today's fast-changing media landscape, my responsibility is to lead the video department to create, shoot and edit compelling video content that tells impactful stories.
In a video production, the cinematographer, also known as the director of photography (DP), has several responsibilities. Collaboration with the director and other key members of the production team is my primary role in creating the visual language and aesthetic of the film. It is my skill set that can contribute to a successful video production: I keep up to date with the newest cinematography technologies and techniques, and I apply these technologies in accordance with large format cinema camera operation, lighting, composition, framing, and camera movement to capture captivating stories and achieve visual aesthetics.
In contrast, as a producer/director, I collaborate with executive/editorial producers to create and execute video strategies, scripts, shot lists, and production plans for all video projects. Additionally, leading and managing a team of video production staff and creatives to produce TV spots, promos, news segments, and live-streaming productions.
