Storytelling has taken me across many countries: growing up in Manila to graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication from the Savannah College of Art and Design to working as an award-winning copywriter in multiple advertising agencies in New York. Out of my typical “9-5” advertising job, my “5-9” consisted of freelance reporting and contributions to publications such as CNN, New York Magazine, Rappler, and ilovetheupperwestside.com. Now, I’m in Barcelona working on my master’s degree in international communication to hopefully make the jump to journalism.
 
I’m passionate about accessibility and accuracy and will always advocate why it's foundational in any project. I do my best work when I'm given the space to truly make an impact, and I believe that my role as a writer is to encourage education, honesty, and action. My hybrid background as a journalist, copywriter, and student has helped me stay curious, manage tight deadlines, and foster team collaboration.
