Objective

I worked as a political reporter and general assignment MMJ at the NBC affiliate in Bismarck, North Dakota, covering state government, breaking news, and daily enterprise stories. I later began freelancing for the North Dakota Monitor and it exposed me to additional avenues of journalism beyond local TV news. I graduated from Duke University in May 2025 where I majored in Public Policy and took courses in the journalism minor. Outside of the classroom, I was active in student journalism and took internships in the field.

I’m currently exploring opportunities across journalism and media, including broadcast, digital, and political reporting, and am especially interested in storytelling-focused roles with strong workplace culture and mentorship.
