My name is Adán. I am a third-year student at Northwestern, double-majoring in Journalism and Legal Studies and minoring in Asian American Studies. I have experience with print, audio and multiplatform journalism. I’ve worked exclusively in nonprofit media, reporting for hyperlocal East Lansing Info and Michigan Public’s Stateside. I recently completed my Medill journalism residency with Midstory, a nonprofit Toledo-based media thinkhub that focuses on progressing the narrative of the Midwest. I recently started at Northwestern Magazine, Northwestern’s alumni magazine.
