Worked on a 2020 Census project for CCSPIN, a newspaper from Contra Costa County, CA that publishes stories from high school students across the county. Edited and proofread a page to make sure that it was ready for publication. Interviewed people and wrote a news story about teenagers’ thoughts on the 2020 census, specifically their lack of knowledge on what it is and the importance of it. Communicated effectively with the lead advisor for the project.
