Assistant City Editor: winter 2024 Assistant Audio Editor: spring 2024 I created and revised both written and audio stories on initiatives, locations, and same-day events in campus and around Evanston, including on the education beat — all while meeting tight deadlines and fulfilling quick turnaround times. As assistant audio editor, I edited about two stories each week and provided feedback on writing clearly in AP style. Throughout my time, I conducted interviews in English and Spanish with students, professors, school administrators, and community members.
