We are hiring an Editor of Marketing Communications for one of our largest and fastest growing accounts – a Fortune 200 company, whose accolades include Content Marketing Program of the Year. In this role, you’ll write and edit B2B technology content, collaborating with a smart and dedicated content marketing team at Manifest for one of the largest technology solutions and services providers in the country. You’ll support and eventually own a variety of project types and will grow your B2B content marketing and strategy skillsets as you become an in-house expert on the client’s brand. This role is hybrid and is based in Washington, D.C. Responsibilities ● Interview subject-matter experts and client stakeholders, guiding conversations to identify key value propositions and develop effective positioning for B2B solutions and services. ● Write and edit sales enablement and marketing content, producing quality deliverables on short deadlines. Projects to include sales presentations, battlecards, sales sheet, event positioning, lead nurture communications etc. ● Collaborate with the design team to create consistent and innovative work that supports client goals. ● Identify opportunities to bring marketing insights to wider content program, potentially co-leading training efforts and knowledge share outs. ● Support special projects and new client work, as needed. ● Periodically post case studies, white papers, blogs and other content to the CMS, optimizing content for search. ● Curate thought leadership content and write copy and subject lines for lead nurture marketing emails, managing rolling deadlines. ● 4-6 years of experience in marketing. ● Experience writing/editing about technology strongly preferred. ● Sharp interviewing, writing and editing skills and the ability to distill complex subjects and craft compelling narrative on deadline. ● Ability to think strategically and navigate ambiguity, with experience breaking down broad, complex problems and resolving how to move work forward. ● Experience with content management systems, HTML and CSS. ● Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) a plus. ● Experience working with customers or clients a plus. ● Bachelor’s Degree required.
