KTSF has the following available positions in its News department where a journalist’s work makes a real difference.
 
Mandarin-speaking Television News Producer and Writer; FT
 
KTSF is seeking a full-time Mandarin-speaking News Producer and Writer for live television news broadcasts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating daily news rundowns containing content with news value and interest to our local Chinese audience. This includes story assignment and  placement in news programming, non-linear desktop editing and other editorial and production elements.  As a Writer: Produce news stories with accuracy, balance in a clear and compelling style; Ensure an efficient and effective newsroom work flow for meeting deadlines and creating broadcast quality content. Must be fluent in English and Mandarin.   EOE   
 
Mandarin-speaking Television News Reporter and Writer; Full-time
 
KTSF is seeking a Mandarin-speaking News Reporter and Writer for its live Mandarin-language newscasts. Hybrid work schedule. The person needs to shoot, produce, write and edit news for broadcast, on-line and social media.  This job may include anchoring live news broadcasts. B.A. degree or higher in related field is required.  A minimum of one year of translation work, writing, reporting in broadcast news or equivalent.   Must speak/write and have excellent command of Mandarin and English is required.   Valid CA driver’s license and insurance.   EOE.
