We are looking for ambitious, driven individuals who want to break stories, set agendas, and make an impact. We don’t care where you went to school or college. We care about your instinct for stories, your ability to think independently, and your determination to succeed. You should be passionate about telling stories people actually want to read and watch and be motivated to hold power to account. You should also be comfortable working across formats — writing, video, social, and emerging platforms — and thinking about how journalism reaches audiences today. This is a two-year program where you will be trained across multiple desks, including News, Politics, Video, Social, Features, and specialist teams such as Health, Money, and Science. You’ll learn fast, contribute from day one, and help shape how we tell stories to a global audience. You’ll be working alongside some of the best journalists in the industry, on a competitive salary, and with a clear path into a permanent editorial role. To apply, email UStrainees@dailymail.com by Friday, April 17th explaining why you would be a strong fit, and include examples of your work or your ability through original ideas, writing, or other content you’ve produced.
